A heart-wrenching incident took place in Boragal village in Hukkari taluk, where a father poisoned his four children and also committed suicide.
Five of them have died of poisoning in the incident.
The deceased were identified as Gopala Hadimani (46), his children – Sowmya Hadimani (19), Shwetha Hadimani (16), Saakshi Hadimani (11) and Srujan Hadimani (8).
Jaya, the wife of deceased Gopal, died of black fungus on July 6. The family was said to be in shock.
