The newly elected mayor of the Belgaum city corporation Mahesh Naik and deputy Mayor Renu Mutgekar took charge of their offices on Monday. Their taking charge was delayed due to the Loksabha elections.
On March 10, 2014 both of them were elected but could not take charge due to code of conduct. Councilor and corporation commissioner welcomed them today at their offices.
