Today Belgaum city recorded its lowest minimum temprature of 8.1 deg celcius.
This is the lowest since 1991 when similar temprature were recorded.
On saturday the city saw a low of 9.6 and now the met department fears of the mercury falling further as the cold wave intensifies.
6.8 deg is the all time lowest temparature recorded and fears are that this time we could see a drop to all time lows.
