MoSR Shri Suresh C Angadi instructed Railway to take action immediately on problems at Belagavi area especially the Road surface of ROB at the Gogte circle and speedy progress of ROB at the 3rd gate which is in progress and required attention.
MoSR also sought the attention of Railway officials for the revision of timings of recently introduced Vaso-da-Gama – Belagavi train to suit the convenience of the passengers. He instructed SWR officials to sort out issues with Central Railway and resume services of the Yesvantpur – Pandarpur train between Miraj and Pandarpur which was canceled and the public in this region were facing difficulties.
MoSR asked SWR officials to look into the feasibility of increasing the frequency of the Hubballi-Varanasi train express to 4 days a week. MoSR also instructed Railway officials to check the possibility of sending a proposal to run a Rajdhani train to New Delhi via Hubballi and Belagavi.
Janshatabdi and Varanasi (Belagavi – Varanasi Express) train too must be extended to Belgaum as like the Belagavi – Ashokapuram Express. Yesvantpur – Pandarpur train must be thrice in a week[only weekdays]. Belagavi -Vaso-da-Gama train travel time must be maxed 3 – 4hours n not more, route stations being the same a Lil 20%-30% increase in price too not much, as affordable to common man n poor, BGM-VDG depart @6 PM n VDG-BGM depart @8PM such that the working man and common man too use the facility to the best. When we need to start something we need a lil planning we don’t have to do it anyhow. And yeah much needed Rajdhani via Belgaum to Delhi

Belagavi to Parswanath direct Train shall be started daily as we have to go to either Mumbai CSMT (VT) or Hubballi, change to Guntakal up to Bhubaneswar, again change to Kolkatta EXP. Beganing & Ending station should be Belagavi & Parswanath, and vice versa The rout should cover shortest &super fast. One train once in a week (Fri) is from Kolhapur, which takes nearly 56 hrs. Parasnath Station is the only link Rly. Stn. To Shri Sammed Shikharji (Post Madhuban, Dist Giridih, Zarkhand state) which is Holly Place to All Jains. It is mandatory to make 27 km taking round on the Shikharji hill to every Jains. (9 km climbing 9 km surface, Darshan to 20 Teerthankarji paduka, 9 km getting down = 27 km) This is Nirwan Bhoomi, apart from 20 Teerthankarji, crores of Jain Digambar muni swami way to moksha bhoomi.
