The Miraj to Yeshvantpur special train 06517 /06518 which was commenced on October 2, 2012 willonly ply upto September 30. The last journey of the Miraj – Yeshvantpur will be on September 30 and that of Yeshvantpur – Miraj on Sept 29, 2013.
It may be recalled that the same train was canceled earlier this year after Kharge took over as Railway minister but later the train was recommenced and now according to the schedule it will run only upto September end.
Now will the train get an extension has to be seen and only time can tell.
People of Karnataka are hoping for more train services for Karnataka in general and North Karnataka in particular….
When are they going to start the much awaited Hubli – Mumbai train?
There is a need of a train daily between Goa to Banglore which also benefit for karnataka from Londa onwards…
Convey this to Hon.Minister Shri.Prakash Hukkeri,to take initiative for the Continuation of this Train to make it daily.As well as to start weekly Train between HUBLI AND LTT as early as possible.Also to Hon.Minister Shri.R.V.Deshpande.

Kindly convey this message ASAP to Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee members based in Belgaum. I recollect there are 2 members and these should take up this issue with SWR officials in their next meet along with public representation on local MLA’s.
This train should be made a daily one as it provides faster connectivity to Bangalore.
