Subhedar Major Surjit Singh aged 47, who is serving in the commando wing of MLIRC Belagavi, and had been mysteriously missing since 11 June was found at the Belagavi Railway station.
The Army had tried everything to trace the missing person.
He was finally found by the railway police at the railway station a month later. The railway police contacted the commando wing department and handed him over.

He had come to town on a bicycle on Saturday evening to repair his mobile. He was last seen parking his cycle near Vaishali Kitchen Kelkar Bagh after which he suddenly disappeared.

No details about what was he doing for the past 1 month at the Railway Station! How and why he came from Kelkarbagh to Railway Station! How is that the entire system failed to trace him for one long month if he was at the Railway Staion!!! Many unanswered questions in this report…
