After various complaints about the delay and the hardships faced by the commuters, MLA Anil Benake today reviewed the work at the Central Bus stand.
The actual work had commenced on Jan 28, 2017, that’s more than 5 years now.
Covid was one reason for the delay but the execution of the project since day one has been not up to the mark.
Historically, the work for the modernization of CBT began in 2009. Take it as 8 years of meticulous planning of the state and department the work has commenced. But even to date, the same is not yet complete.
It may take another 6-8 months for the total completion of the works.
