MLA Abhay Patil met with the officials of the Karnataka Urban Water Supply & Drainage Board and instructed them to remove the disparity in the water supply to Belagavi South.
Patil said Water is supplied to North is 65% whereas to south it is only 35% and there is no specific date or time for the same.
When the water is supplied with no force the citizens to have an arduous time collecting the same.
The officials were asked to provide a detailed report on the overhead tanks and how it can be increased to ensure better and effective water supply.
While the consumption is ever increasing and rains not regular, what steps are in planning to increase storage capacities and water table.
Else what is talked here is just math and administrative. How are we looking at resolution in the longer term?
Please introduce water meters to all the water connections and trace all the fraud connection if they are any, then all our citizen will start using the water adequately.
