Shabana Mehaboob Desai (33) resident of Mahantesh Nagar allegedly killed her two children – daughter Sania (5) and son Anas (6) by hanging them to the ceiling and then hanged herself in the kitchen. Mohammad Jahid (9) escaped from the mothers clutches when he realized that his mother had gone violent and he ran away to his relatives in a haste.
Police say that the main reason behind this act must have been the clash with her husband Mehaboob who is addicted to smack and he used to spend his entire earnings on drugs.
