Mrs. Gunavanti Kulam, a selfless mother, donated her kidney to her 26-year-old son, Mr. Rajaram Kulam, who had been suffering from chronic kidney disease and undergoing dialysis for the past year.
Mr. Ramdas Kulam, a resident of Golyali village in Khanapur Taluka, Belagavi district, had been battling the challenges of chronic kidney disease when he sought the expertise of Nephrologist Dr. Vijaykumar Patil at Arihant Hospital.
