Smt. Mangal Suresh Angadi, MP Belagavi called on Union Minister Sri Nitin Gadkari in his office and discussed the need to undertake an upgradation project of the road from the present narrow two lanes to four lanes, stretching along Goa-Karnataka Border up to Panjim, to ensure better connectivity between two states of Karnataka and Goa State
During the meeting, also had the opportunity to discuss the formation of Belagavi Bypass road, Ring road, around Belagavi city to ease traffic congestion.
The Hon Minister discussed in length the aforesaid issues during the meet and assured of an early start of the said works.
It may be recalled that the Members of the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industry had met me and urged me to take up the matter with the Ministry, so as to boost the trade activity between the two states.
She said – “I am sure the days aren’t far off to see dreams come true of every Belgaumites.”
