On the night of 18/05/2023, Mahantesh Rudrappa Karlinganwar (23) was killed in Marihal village. According to the complaint filed by the deceased’s brother Santosh, a case was registered at Marihal police station on 19/05/2023 and an investigation was carried out.
Akshayakumar Nagappa Konakeri (23), of Sulebhavi and Rajesab Hanif Mulla (23) of Marihal have been arrested.
Both were arrested on: 19/05/2023, interrogated, prosecuted and handed over to judicial custody as he confessed to the murder.
The Commissioner of Police, DCP appreciated the teamwork of the PI and staff of the Marihal police station who succeeded in finding the accused within a few hours and arresting them.
