Persons arriving from Maharashtra and Kerala should produce a Negative RTPCR certificate, that is not older than 72 hours irrespective of vaccination status.
This has irked many in neighboring districts across the border and today the NCP protested and also disrupted traffic on the highway against this rule.
Bhayya Mane, NCP State chief secretary led the agitation, as the agitators gathered at the Kognoli toll plaza and urged the Karnataka government to withdraw its rule of presenting negative RT-PCR report for entering the southern state.
Mane asked whether the Kognoli check post is an Indo-Pak border. Why the Karnataka government is treating people from Maharashtra as Pakistanis, he remarked while demanding to roll back the RT-PCR move within the next four days.
These NCP people should be sent a day between corona infected people. Why are these people been given importance. Instead make arrangement for there maharashtra or pakistani people can get there rtpcr done easily.
