The Nippani police on duty at the Kognoli check-post have charged as many as 12 persons for producing fake RTPCR certificates.
As per the protocol, all entering the State of Karnataka from Maharashtra must have a Covid negative certificate.
During the routine inspection at 4 AM of a Private bus, the police found that 12 persons had fake RTPCR reports.
Hence case has been filed against them and 3 of them have been taken into custody as well, reports the lokadarshan.news.
On Feb 3 Maharashtra recorded 15252 new cases while Karnataka recorded 16436 new cases.
