Karnataka government has banned the use of mobile phones in all government and aided first grade colleges under the Department of Collegiate Education (DCE).
The ban applies to all students, teachers and the non-teaching staff. If there is a need, a STD booth can be set up in the college premises the chief of DCE said.

Considering on Students part – Its strict..! Lecturers taken the students mobile and hand it over to the principal…
But on lecturers.. they hardly care… No one is there to question them….
