Government of India has issued fresh Covid-19 guidelines for international arriving passengers. As per the new guideline, the mandatory 72-hour report of RT-PCR is not required anymore and the travellers can show their Full Vaccination Certificate.

However if one wants to Enter Karnataka from Maharashtra one has to produce an RTPCR Negative certificate.

So one can easily travel from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong to Bengaluru but it would be difficult to travel to Mumbai and then to Belagavi as one will officially need the RTPCR -ve certificate to enter Karnataka.

On social media, one user has termed the Kognoli border as the Maharashtra Karnataka Actual Line of Control and many said it’s an Indo-Pak border only a parade is missing like one at the Wagah border.

The checking at Kognoli is there and if you are unlucky you will be sent back, By railways however, no checking was done earlier as well. And by flight as per the SoP one needs to have the RTPCR as the airlines need it.
