Now 260 beds reserved for COVID patients at CIVIL hospital

The total number of Active cases for COVID-19 in the Belagavi district has now gone below the 400 mark and stands at 394 as of Wednesday.

The Belagavi Civil hospital has now reduced the number of beds for COVID patients from 740 to 260.

The Belagavi Civil hospital was fully converted into a COVID care center but from Monday as the number of cases has reduced all the other services and OPD’s at the hospital have been started and hence the beds reserved are now 260.

Out of the 260 beds reserved only 49 are currently occupied with 211 lying vacant.

Out of the 260 beds 230 are Oxygen beds, 10 ICU beds.

There was a time when getting a bed for the patient was a nightmare but now as patients have reduced the load on the health dept and the Corona warriors has lowered to an extent.

Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain on Monday said that coronavirus (Covid-19) infection peak has passed in the national Capital and that there will be no reimposition of lockdown in Delhi. He also reiterated the importance of wearing masks in preventing the spread of the disease.

Here as well the people must adhere to the norms and wear a mask and maintain social distance and stop the spread of the virus.
