Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation employees on Friday decided to continue their indefinite strike after failure of talks with the government to resolve the impasse over salary hike. The strike which had begun yesterday did not get much response from Belgaum depot of NWKRTC but today both factions of the union stepped into the strike and almost 60% of the buses did not run on as per schedules.
Employees agitating were arrested and then later released.
