The program was inaugurated by Deputy Director, Food and supplies Belgaum and BPCL, IOCL and HPCL company officials, Petrol Bunk Dealers, Petrol Bunk staffs, LPG Distributors & LPG Delivery Boys
Street play on petroleum products conservation and their safe handling was performed at M/s V J Manjrekar petrol bunk by Bharat Gas LPG Distributor Mr. Omappa and group to create awareness among general public.
Thereafter, Walkathon was organized from Chennamma circle to Bogaves which was attended by 100 people carrying the ply card and banners, displaying the fuel conservation messages and safe handling procedures.
Sharing vehicles, using public transportation and other conservation methods of petroleum products were highlighted.
