The Belagavi police have arrested one person from Shahpur for making an objectionable post about Tipu Sultan on social media.
The Cyber Economic and Narcotics department arrested Ajay aged 32 for making the post and also making it viral on Whatsapp and social media.
The police is on the lookout for another two who made comments on the said post. Fazalmohammad Pathan had made a complaint to the police in this regard.
The arrested has been charged under the IT act for spreading hatred amongst two communities.
