Leopard still elusive

In the past week, two leopards have been sighted — one at Hindalco Colony, and the other at Kudremani village. The images of a leopard moving in Hindalco Colony have been captured by a CCTV camera, a video clip of the leopard straying into Kudremani went viral on social media.

The Leopard was again sighted on Saturday morning by a woman near Hindalco colony but it has been elusive from the Forest officials, who are trying hard to capture it.

The forest officials had placed the cage in the forest area some distance away from the residential colonies in factory premises and kept a watch by a team of forest staff. But there has been no success.

Now according to the Forest officials, the leopard is been searched in Hulyanur- Kalkhamb areas. The leopard was last sighted on the road connecting Hulyanur- Kalkhamb road.
