An elderly person identified as an ex-service men Appasaheb aged around 70 was killed at First gate on Sunday morning.
He is said to be resident of Savar Raod Tilakwadi.
Eye witnesses say he was trying to cross over while the gate were closed and when they alerted him about the train coming he returned back but again he went forward and died on the spot.
It is yet to ascertained if this is a case of suicide or an accident.
