The Lawyers of Bar Association Belagavi were protesting for the establishment of the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (KSCDRC) in Belagavi which was announced earlier.
Now the Govt on 17/06/2022 has issued an order for the establishment of the KSCDRC in Belagavi.
Lawyers today had started a fast as well.
As per the information available to us the Karnataka State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission was sanctioned to both Kalaburagi and Belagavi city.
However, the one at Kalburgi has commenced while the one at Belagavi has been delayed for reasons unknown as usual.
Now after the series of protests, the order has been issued.
