While going to duty in the morning from his residence in Pant Balekundri near Belagavi, this Airforce personnel (Civilian) got injured in a road accident and was admitted to the KLEs Dr.Prabhakar Kore MRC Belagavi.
The 57-year-old was grievously injured and fighting for their life.
His family came forward and decided to donate his organs and the organs gave a new lease of life to 3 persons.
The heart was transplanted into a patient admitted at the KLEs Dr.Prabhakar Kore MRC Belagavi only while both the kidneys were sent to SDM Hospital, Dharwad for the transplant.
The police made a green corridor for the organs to be transported easily and swiftly.
The eyes were transplanted to two blind persons who will now see the world.
