Shri Vidya Vihar Vidyalaya Kulapati N.R. Vijayendra Sharma based in Belagavi has allegedly received death threats.
A case in this regard has been registered at the Tilakwadi Police station limits.
Pandit Sharma as he known to all said that receiving phone calls from various parts of the county asking him to withdraw the date told for the bhumi pooja of the Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya or face the aftermath.
In the past 4 days, he has received over 50 calls with almost the same content and context from various parts of the country.
Security has been beefed up at his residence by the police.
Rashtrasant Swami Govindgiri Maharaj, the trustee of the Ram temple, had approached them regarding the commencement of the construction work of this historic temple. It was also requested to inform of an auspicious date to start the construction work of the Ram temple.
Accordingly, After 9 a.m. on July 29, July 31 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. On August 3 after 10 a.m. and entire day on August 5, 2020, were sent as the auspicious day for the groundbreaking.
