The Department of Health and Family Welfare Services – Govt. of Karnataka today released the names of the Top 10 Medical Students who are reaching out to Covid -19 Positive patients in Home Isolation.
Parinita Reddy from KLE Societies of Dental sciences, Belagavi is one among the top 10 students.
A unique PPP model by Govt. of Karnataka, RGUHS and Project Step-One has ensured all Home Isolation patients are spoken to, to assess their clinical condition.
Health Experts had suggested to the Govt that looking at the glaring situation of COVID-19 in the state there could be a scarcity of medical staff in the coming days.
As a solution to this final year medical, dental students have been deployed to treat COVID patients in home isolation.
