The Airports Authority of India (AAI) recently dropped some fresh data that shows Belagavi airport is on fire! Passenger traffic has skyrocketed by a whopping 44.51% compared to last month.
In October 2023, Belagavi Airport welcomed a total of around 29,285 passengers. That’s a massive increase of 9,020 compared to the previous month’s figure of 20,265. People are flocking to this airport like never before!
But that’s not all. The data also reveals that there were 578 flights operated in October. And guess what? Less than 1-Metric Tonnes of cargo was moved. So it’s not just people, but goods are also flowing through this airport.
Belagavi Airport is connected to Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Surat, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and even Tirupati.
Star Air offers direct flights from Belagavi to major Indian cities, including Ahmadabad, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Surat, Tirupati, Nagpur, Jaipur, and Bhuj via Ahmadabad.
Indigo, on the other hand, operates daily flights from Belagavi to New Delhi, Bengaluru (two flights), and Hyderabad.
