Belagavi Cantonment CEO Anand found dead

In a tragic turn of events, the CEO of Belagavi Cantonment Board, Anand K (40), was found dead at his govt residence. This incident occurred shortly after CBI officers conducted a raid on the board’s office.

Anand, who had been serving as the CEO of Belagavi Cantonment Board for the past one and a half years, was originally from Tamil Nadu and belonged to the Indian Defense Estate Service. This morning, when the staff noticed that Anand’s house remained locked, they immediately informed the camp police.

Upon entering the residence, Anand was discovered lifeless. The MLIRC Brigadier and Khade Bazar ACP later arrived at the scene to conduct an inspection. It is worth mentioning that the CBI had conducted a raid on the Belagavi Cantonment Board a few days prior. This raid was prompted by a private complaint regarding allegations of illegal recruitment and illicit activities.

  1. Very very sad news. The defence administrative services has lost an able officer.
    Mr Anand came as an efficient and highly professional administrator to BGM Cantonment. A bright future has been stifled today.
