On the Police Commemoration Day, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah along with other announcements for the police force also announced establishment of schools for the children of the Police force named Police Public schools.
Similar schools would also be opened in Davangere, Gulbarga and Udupi for which Rs 15 crore has been allocated.
In Belgaum as well Tributes were paid to police personnel who died while on duty, on Police Commemoration Day.
