More than 79 thousand vaccine doses were administered across the Belagavi district till Monday evening on the first day of the revised guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination coming into effect in the mega ‘Lasika Mela’ that was launched today.
As we are writing this post as many as 79,020 doses have been administered in the District in a single day.
As per the COWIN site vaccination was done at 499 locations in which 5 were private while 495 Government.
More than 69 lakh vaccine doses were administered across the country till Monday evening on the first day of the revised guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination coming into effect, the Union Health Ministry said.
It is the highest number of doses administered in a day since the vaccination drive started on 16 January.
India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage is now nearly 28.7 crore.
