Results of 271 samples awaited: 67 samples tested negative today

As of April 23: 2427 Persons(Yesterday 2224) are under observation for COVID-19 in Belagavi district along with one death and three discharges.

Out of the 1126 (yesterday 923) samples tested 798 are negative and reports of 271 (Yesterday 135) are awaited with 43 persons testing positive, out of which one women passed away and three have been discharged.

39 persons have been isolated in the hospital.

As of today 39 persons are (active) positive in Belagavi district out of which 1 each is from Azam Nagar, Aman Nagar, Azad Galli, Yellur, Sankeshwar, Peeranwadi, 4 from Camp, 15 from Hire Bagewadi, 17 from Kudachi Raibag.

Deceased Age group: 80 years

All the patients in the civil hospital are stable and under observation and treatment.
