The Road widening work in Pangul Galli could begin from Monday, the marking was done before Diwali only and the said road will be widened to 30 feet.
None of the residents had opposed the marking and a meeting under the leadership of MLA Anil Benake was also held.
Persons who lose 100% have been promised compensation, mind you, it is just a promise nothing concrete has been mentioned about it. Even after 2 years, people who lost 100% in RamlingKhind Galli have not got their compensation.
A few of residents on Ganpat Gali corner have a stay from the High court taken in 2015 and it will have to be seen if these buildings will be touched by the Corporation.
The notable factor here is, residents and business owners have been asked to remove the part which comes in the line of the road of 30 feet, where the marking has been done.
