The work on the Railway over bridge at old Dharwad road was commenced on 24 January 2017. The Railway over bridge on LC No.388 on Old Dharwad road. KPR Constructions, Hyderabad has been awarded this works contract.
The RoB has 14 Pillars; 10 upto Roopali Hall and 4 upto Jija Mata circle and is 40 feet wide and estimated cost is 24 Crore.
As per the tender the contractor has time upto July 2018 to complete the work, but it seems he will do it before time and by March end major works will get completed and then the finishing, laning, side painting etc works will be undertaken.
