The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded its annual All India Province Propagators’ Meeting in Belagavi on Sunday after three days of deliberations on organisational expansion, social initiatives, and national issues.
The meeting was attended by 226 senior RSS functionaries, including RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale.
A major focus of the meeting was reviewing Sangh training programmes conducted across the country after March 2026. According to the RSS, 83 Sangh Shiksha Vargs and 12 Karyakarta Vikas Vargs were organised this year, training 18,842 swayamsevaks in areas such as shakha management, organisational work, rural development, family awareness, disaster management, environmental initiatives, and other social activities.
The leadership also reviewed the implementation of action plans at the shakha level and discussed an intensive expansion drive planned for September to increase the number of shakhas across the country.
With the RSS centenary year currently underway, the meeting assessed programmes completed so far and planned the remaining events. Discussions also focused on engaging people who participated in centenary programmes in long-term social service activities and the Sangh’s “fivefold transformation” initiative. The annual travel programme of Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat for 2026-27 was also finalised.

The meeting also deliberated on several contemporary issues, including preparations related to the upcoming census, demographic changes, and concerns over the growing menace of drug abuse. Senior functionaries emphasised the need to prioritise de-addiction initiatives and also discussed programmes to commemorate the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Maharaj.
The RSS also expressed concern over the recently reported irregularities in the counting of donations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Participants said they were confident that the ongoing investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the police, initiated at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, would reach a conclusive stage. The meeting stressed the need for measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur and do not affect the faith of devotees visiting the Ram Mandir.
The meeting, hosted in Belagavi, brought together senior RSS organisers from across the country to review organisational work, formulate future strategies, and discuss issues of national and social importance.
