The prestigious Literary Achayra Atre Memorial Award is announced to senior poet Satish Kalsekar, from Raigad which will be bestowed to him on 13th August 2013 to mark the birth ceremony of Acharya Atre-the great writer from Maharashtra. This was announced by Anant Lad – President of Sarvajanik Wachanalaya, the 165 year old literary organization at Belgaum. The award includes Rs. 25000/- cash, momento & certificate. This award is given since last 8 years. A lecture by Kalsekar is also organized in a function to be held at Maratha Bank, Belgaum at 5 pm on 13th August says a press note.
