Security beefed up at Sambra airport

After intelligence reports that the Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai could be targeted by small planes flying in from cities like Hubli, the security at Sambra Airport has been beefed up, police sources said.The New Terminal building

30 police personnel have been trained for any kind of emergency and about 150 odd personnel have been identified who will be posted once they are trained.

The height of the fence around the airport will also be raised, close circuit TV cameras installed and a few towers with searchlights constructed in the airport are few steps taken for the increased security.

  1. LOL can't control my laugh on this news. is this some kind of joke…what is the air traffic of Mumbai airport and belgaum airport. I can understand if Indian airforce beef up the security as sambra airport is used by IAF
    but belgaum police hahahaha they can't even manage BGM road traffic. BTW how many planes land at BGM airoprt?
