Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the inaugural function of the KLE Centenary celebrations in Belagavi on Sunday November 13.
Today a special team from his security team visited the district stadium where he will be attending the function and asked for the requisite arrangements to be made as required by protocol.
The PM will arrive at KSRP helipad in Belagavi from Goa by a helicopter at 1.30pm on November 13. He will later visit the district stadium by road and participate in the centenary celebrations KLES before proceeding to Sambra airport.
KLE University, said that 20,000 people can be seated in the grounds, while another 10,000 can watch the programme while sitting on the steps in the stadium. To manage the crowd, the guests have been asked to bring invitation cards.
DCP Radhika who visited the team assured of elaborate security arrangements for the PM’s visit.
