Shindoli near Belaagvi was shaken by a double murder on Sunday night. Two young men, Basavaraj Belgaonkar, 24, and Girish Nagunavar, 24, were brutally attacked with sharp weapons while returning home from a tournament.
The Marihal police were already busy making arrangements for the arrival of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at the airport when the incident occurred. Immediately, they rushed to the scene and began their investigation.
A large police force was stationed throughout the night and additional officers were sent to Shindoli. Senior police officers were also present to investigate the cause of the murder.
The motive behind the attack remains unknown, but the police are working diligently to uncover the truth.
