Special Express train to Bengaluru from Belagavi from 29 June proposed

The demand for an overnight train to Bengaluru has been a long pending demand and now with Suresh Angadi as the MOS railways, it seems it is materializing.

The SWR has proposed to commence a new special overnight train from KSR Bengaluru – Belagavi- KSR Bengaluru Daily Express from June 29, 2019.

Tentative Timings: 
SBC-BGM Daily
SBC- Departure: 2100
BGM – Arrival: 0730

BGM-SBC daily
BGM- Departure: 2100
SBC – Arrival: 0730

Thanks to Mr.Suresh Angadi for this train which will put off some load from the always full Rani Chennamma Express which also have been given new Utkrishit Rakes.

  2. Hope we will soon get the high-speed train between Belagavi and Bengaluru as proposed in 2012; because this should be and will be on the priority agenda of hon’ble MOS RAILWAY, ANGADI SIR.

  3. Need few overnight trains towards pune and Mumbai .
    Timing for train proceeding towards Hyderabad need to he revised.
    Pune ernakulam train timing also to be revised and also required one train towards mangalore.

  4. I personally thank Mr Suresh Angadi Sir for showing personal interest in Belgaum this was very long awaited proposal and we are very happy. We request that at any cost this new train should not be stopped

  6. I don’t think this is a permanent routine train. As its title says it’s a special train, means for occasionally run . So I don’t think it’s because of minister level great work done. It’s a zonal manager work.

  9. I profusely thank MoS, Sri. Suresh Angadi Sir, but it should start from Miraj Junction ,as it covers major/many stations of Belagavi district,and helps all and sundry. Plz extend up-to Miraj and make it Regular train & don’t name it as Special Train. One more request, to stop Yeshawanapur-Phandarpur at Ghatprabha Station as earlier it was stopping at Ghatprabha and was running Thrice in a week, it will help this train to get more profit as less number of passengers abode up to Belagavi.Plz initiate steps immediately.

  10. THERE IS NO CHART IN THE IRCTC SITE FOR THIS TRAIN TO BOOK THE TICKETS ON GIVEN DATE 29/06/2019 PLEASE CORRECT THE ERROR,PLEASE DONT, DONT CONFUSE THE PEOPLE AND SAY THE CORRECT DATE WHEN WILL THIS TRAIN STARTS ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

  11. Hon minister Sri Suresh Angadiji , thanks for the new special train which runs overnight from Belagavi to Bengaluru . It is a sincere request on behalf of all passengers travelling from miraj , raibag, chikkodi, nippani , hukkeri , ghatprabha , gokak and many other small places to extend this train from miraj , instead from Belgavi ,so that it will be beneficial to all and the train will run full and special train will be converted into regular train .
