Srikanth Madagi IAF officer killed

Srikanth Chandraprakash Madagi (26), a flight lieutenant with the Indian Air Force was killed  in Ludhiana, Punjab,and his body arrived in Bangalore on Saturday. Srikanth is survived by parents, elder sister Radha Madagi and younger brother Sridhar Madagi.

Srikanth had done his schooling from St.Paul’s High school Belgaum and then his college from RLS. He later joined the NDA.

Srikanth was serving in the administration department of the Indian Air Force unit in Ludhiana. His father Chandra Prakash Madagi, who works as Superintendent of Police, Wireless, Bangalore.

The last rites would be conducted on Monday after his younger brother returned from Japan.

The Hindu reports that – he was killed while practising at a firing range there on Thursday.

The TOI reports – died of bullet injuries in Ludhiana, Punjab, on Thursday but not in cross firing. IAF said –  “There was a routine night firing exercise in progress. There has been no cross-firing or any contact with foreign troops.”

Many of his friends from school and college in Belgaum remembered him and many have posted images with on social media.

  1. I am vinay madgi cuosion brother of srikant madgi i was very sad when i heard about it . They have killed my brother purpously so this case should be invastigated and gulity should be punished .If the government will not invastigate this case means i will take the revange of my brother and no one can stop me by doing this .My family members will support me
