The Belagavi Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducted a START-UP SAMWAD and MSME SAHAYOG today at ICAI Bhavan Belagavi.
The Chief Guest Mr. Dilip Chandak in his inaugural address reiterated the pivotal role of Chartered Accountants in the success story of business houses and Start-Ups, Mr. Dilip Chindak has played a monumental role in bringing the name of the city on the world map in auto accessories and road safety products.

Tigadi, Chairman of the Belagavi Branch of ICAI welcomed the audience from all spectrums including the Chamber of Commerce Belagavi, Small Scale Association of Belagavi, Laghu Udyog Bharati, and has apprised the audience about the role of Cas in MSME Sector and how Chartered Accountants help build a cohesive ecosystem for start-ups and informed that Indian Chartered Accountants are first to introduce Sustainable Reporting Standards in the world.
The speaker CA Yogesh Kulkarni, a Chartered Accountant presented a paper on FUND RAISING for START-UPS and spoke about how Chartered Accountants can help form clusters of investors in Belagavi to guide Start-up and MSMSE sector of Belagavi.
In his presentation, Mr. Ajit Patil, Rivot Motors talked about Belagavi City as an Emerging Start-Up Hub and narrated the success stories of 3 of his start-ups viz. FAAST BroadBand, OutofBox Cloud, and Rivot Motors an EV start-up along with other emerging start-ups of Belagavi to name a few LETZPACK, SCRAPKAROCASH, drone start-up SARUS AEROSPACE, network security devise device Start-up INFOMANT Networks, two wheeler service chain start-up MOTOCROSS India, 3d printer manufacturing start-up DELTASYS REFORMING, an AI startup DATTAMSHLAB all of these startups are from BELAGAVI.
Professor and Scientist Dr. Raviraj Kulkarni, Professor of GIT Engineering College and GIT Incubation Center, spoke about business and start-up opportunities in Nano Technologies and CA Maheshwar Marathe spoke on the topic of Liquidity Management for MSMSE. Mr. Kaustav Panigrahi and Mr. Mudit Mudgal, Chief Managers from Central Bank of India discussed how they can help lend to Start Ups and MSMSE.
