Student from Manipur succumbs to injury made by Manja used for kite flying

A 23-year-old Homeopathy student from Manipur succumbed to his injuries caused by the kite flying Manja in Bengaluru on Thrusday.

Deepak Thokchom originally from Manipur was studying at the Bhartesh Homeopathy Medical college was fighting for his life from the past 8 days as his eye was very badly injured near Kakti due to the kite flying manja.

He was treated at a private hospital here and then was shifted to Bengaluru but he could not be saved.

It is had observed that manja, besides being the reason for a large number of fatalities, was also responsible for injuries to birds, animals and human beings.
