Mohsin of Mahlingpur from Bagalkot District has been admitted to the special H1N1 ward of the civil hospital in Belagavi.
He is suspected to be affected by the H1N1 virus. He was taking treatment for cough and cold for over a week in his village after his health deteriorated he was referred to District civil hospital on Tuesday. Swabs were taken and have been sent to Bengaluru for testing.
Government should start vaccination centers immediately and should start awareness programs.
