TATTVAM, is a Bangalore based organization that markets handcrafts Recycled Paper/Fabric Jewellery, Hand painted products, Fashion accessories and Recycled Home decor accessories organizes Flea markets in Tier 2 cities and provides a platform to home based women entrepreneurs who find it difficult to market their products. Their mission is to create awareness about handmade products and encourage Start ups, Women entrepreneurship & NGOs who support artisans especially in North Karnataka.
Tattvam is now organising a Belgaum’s winter flea bazaar on the Saturday 15th of December, 2012 at Mattikop compound, behind cafe coffee day, SP office road Belgaum. This is the first ever flea market in Belgaum. They have tried and gathered a few talented people. Aruna Mattikop from Apple Tree events, is helping in this event.
TATTVAM is run by Preeti Malavade, whose roots are from Hubli. She personally handcrafts all the products (Fusion Jewellery+ hand painted home decor accessories). She is a MBA and a corporate drop out who believes that her heart is more into art and craft than working on excel sheets and power points.
