Traffic curbs for Vice President visit to Belagavi on Monday

In view of the visit of Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu to VTU Belagavi on Monday 18th March the traffic will be diverted at some places / routes.

Traffic Curbs:
8 AM to 2 PM

All students appearing for Exams are requested to be present at the center by 8.30 AM so that they are not late for exams
All class of vehicles will not be be allowed to use the following roads and they will have to use diverted other routes.

Sambra Under Bridge, Mahantesh Nagar Under Bridge, Ashoka Circle – all Vegetable vehicles, Alarwad Under Bridge, Yedurappa Marg will come via OLD PB road

All BUSES coming from GOA will be stopped at Peeranwadi corner and will return from there only

Buses coming from Kolhapur, Gokak, Dharwad will be stopped at Ashok Nagar 4thcross on open space and will operate from there only.

City Bus service will be operational from Dharmanath Circle

HTV traffic within the city is banned from 17/03/2019 and 18/03/2019 – 7 AM to 8 PM

Vehicles from Goa, Khanapur will go via DESUR, KK KOPPA and can join NH4

First gate, Second gate will be completely closed for traffic on Monday from 8 AM to 2 PM

No parking on NH4A within city limits

No Parking on Sambra road, NH 4, Lakeview Cross, Ashok Circle to Rani Chennama Circle, College Road, Khanapur Road, Congress Road, NH4A

Vehicles coming from Vijapura, Bagalkote, Nesargi, Yargatti can use road next to Marihal Police Station to reach Sulebhavi road

All citizens have been requested to take note of the above programmes and plan their movements accordingly and cooperate with the Police.

  1. presidents are for people if they block the ordinary people’s schedule how you can think our country can grow? tomorrow students also should appear to their exam centre we are fools to go to exam centre at 8:30am when we have exams at 10:15am ,what this vip persons think that we have ample of time!
