In an unfortunate accident on NH 48, two women from Belagavi have died in an accident while they were returning back to Belagavi via Mumbai after attending the last rites of a family member.
The wife and sister of famous spice trader Kirit alias Kanbhai Shah of Belagavi have been identified as the deceased.
Kirit Shah alias Kanabhai, 55, and his son Sagar Shah, 22 are seriously injured.
