Five persons from Angol Belagavi were on their way to Pandharpur on the occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi when their car overturned near Sangola, killing two and injuring three others.
The accident took place on Pandharpur Sangola Road near Kasegaon Fateh when the car overturned at around 1.30 am.
The deceased have been identified as Raju Shindolkar, 45, and Parasram Zanguruche, 50, both of Bhandur Galli, Angol.
Abhijit Hundre (28), Gitesh Kokitkar (26) and Raju Krishna Majukar (26) have been injured and are undergoing treatment in hospital at Pandharpur.
