In a remarkable achievement, two female students from Banajawad Residential P U College in Athani, Belagavi district, have clinched the third position statewide in science and commerce streams in the PUC 2 exams.
Gauri Sanjeev Suryavanshi, scoring an impressive 596 marks in science, demonstrated exceptional proficiency by securing a perfect score of 100 in Kannada, Physics, Chemistry, Life Science, and Mathematics, with a notable 96 in English. Gauri’s father serves as a PDO, while her mother is a teacher.
Meanwhile, G.K. Divya, also from Banajawad Residential P U College, attained 594 marks in the commerce section, claiming the third spot in the state. Divya exhibited outstanding prowess by achieving full marks in Kannada, History, and Economics, along with impressive scores of 99 in Accountancy, 98 in Business Studies, and 97 in English. Divya’s father is employed in a private company, and her mother is a homemaker.
Additionally, Vijayalakshmi Kotreppa Gulaganji from Kumareshwar Undergraduate College in Savadatti and Gangavva Nagesh Sunadholi from Annadaneshwar Undergraduate College in Munavalli, Savadatti taluk, secured the fifth rank statewide, each scoring 592 marks in the arts.
