Sanjay Suresh Shinde (45), resident of Borgaon village in Satara (Maharashtra) and Mahaling Dattare Kharade (55), resident of Wai in Satara were killed on the spot when a truck laden with LPG Cylinders overturned on the car near Badekolmath Cross.
They were traveling to Tirupati from Satara and they saw a milk van over turned on the highway so they stopped away from it but a LPG laden truck could not control and hit the car from behind and then overturned the crushing the rear side of the car. Miraculously the other two, who were sitting on the front seat of the same car, escaped without injuries.

How can the guy driving the truck be so dumb when he should have been cautious? Sad to hear about people being killed in freak accidents.
Indian Roads: Total disdain for traffic rules + bad vehicle maintenance + bad infrastructure = very deadly cocktail which is sadly of no shortage. We don’t give a damn until and unless we ourselves are affected. 🙁 The solution lies within us!!
