Two robbers nabbed who used to rob at knife point

Two robbers were caught unknowingly by the CCIB force on Thursday morning as the duo tried to run away after they saw the police van.

The Police van was on the preparation round for the Durga Mata Daud and near Kapileshwar Bridge two youngsters started to run as soon as they saw the police van, the police chased them and caught and found a knife, lighter and Rs.600 with them.

After a thorough interrogation, they spelled the beans that a couple of months ago they had used the same knife to rob a person near Amba Bhuavn at night. The duo then robbed 5000 from Ramchandra Rajpurohit at knife point and fled away.

A case was registered with the Camp Police station but then, they were not traced. But today they were traced and have been identified as Rahul Chalgar (20) resides behind Kapileshwar temple and Utkarska@ Babaya Verma (19) of Konwal Galli Camp.

    Well done job by the police. These culprits should be taught a good lesson. The way these guys were caught proves an old saying, CHOR KE DAADI MEIN TINKA.
